From consumer to business lending
In January the JSC «Unibank» will revise lending portfolio, preferring not consumer , but entrepreneurial credit, said today at a press conference executive director Jalal Gasimov. According to him, at the end of last year the amount of aid to businessmen was 133 million, by December 1, this year, it has already reached 208 million manat, and by the end of the year it is expected 220 million manat. "In 2015, we expect a further increase in the portfolio," he said. In retail lending, the bank has already made progress, so that next year is expected to nearly 1 billion manat of total loans. According to Gasimov, the total assets of the bank by December 1, already accounted for 865 million manat, and the number of clients of «Unibank» for the last three years has increased by three times.
The JSC «Unibank» was created in October 2002. In the charter capital 66.21% is owned by individuals, 33.79% - by legal entities, including 12.15% by the EBRD , and 6.68%by the German DEG. --17D-

The draft law "On Amendments to the Tax Code," adopted in its third reading, provides for tax exemptions on the sale of locally manufactured buses in Azerbaijan and the supply of spare parts for these vehicles. This was reported by the Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy, explaining that the government's initiative aims to support business development in the country by reducing the tax burden. The exemption will come into effect on January 1, 2025, and will remain valid for eight years.
