Gilan Holding to Build 21-storey Hotel in Tatarstan
The Azerbaijani company Benkons Group will build a 21-storey hotel and office complex in Kazan for the FIFA World Football Cup. This was reported to welcome2018.com by the head of the press service of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Iskander Ahmedov.
According to Russian media (http://goo.gl/rxFBsW), the construction will begin in 2016 at the Kazan Arena Stadium. The company has set aside land for the construction of 1.9 hectares. The total area of the building will amount to 30.1 thousand sq. M. m. It will house 13 offices and 252 hotel rooms.
This is the second major investment by Benkons Group in the Republic of Tatarstan. Before that, it was decided (http://goo.gl/x7OeeP) to build a plant for the production of juices with a capacity of 53.8 million liters a year, and a logistics center. The cost of this project, which is expected to be completed in 2017, is estimated at more than 4 billion Russian rubles.
Benkons is also completing the construction of a hotel and office complex in the city of Orda (the Republic of Tyva, Russia). In the construction of this object 50 million USD has been invested.
The property of Benkons has also included Hotel de Rome in Latvia since 2011.
Benkons Group has operated since 2008 and brings together companies operating in Azerbaijan and abroad (Russia, Germany, Latvia). The Group is a party to the holding company Gilan Holding.
