Reconstruction of the Samur-Absheron canal since the beginning of 2006 to October 1, 2014 cost the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAR) 1 billion 094 300 000 manat.
According to the fund, for the 3rd quarter of this year, AZN 24.8 million was aimed at the project.
Recall the Samur-Absheron canal with a total length of 182 km was built in the years 1938 - 1940 in order to supply Baku and the surrounding peninsula. It consists of two channels - Samur-Devechi, 108 km in length, and Absheron, 74 km in length. --17D-
