Government Offers Investors 52 Properties
The State Committee for Property Affairs of Azerbaijan has announced the January 17 auction for the sale of 52 properties: non-residential premises, industrial and retail properties, unfinished buildings and others.
For the first time it puts up for sale 32 properties, 24 of which are located in Baku. It reoffers investors 20 objects, the press service of the department said.
It is noteworthy that the 32 properties put up for sale are valued at more reasonable prices than the previous ones. Experts point out that some public objects do not find buyers because of the high starting price. Therefore, we can assume that the third re-auction starting price will be reduced by 10%.
The State Committee for Property Affairs provides information about the auctions through its controlled website (www.emdk.gov.az and www.privatization.az) only in the Azerbaijani language. 08D
