Baku to Buy Israeli Iron Dome
Azerbaijan reached an agreement with Israel for the purchase of the anti-missile defense system Iron Dome, the Minister of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan Yaver Jamalov said last Saturday.
According to Israeli media, the agreement was achieved by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry with the relevant bodies of Israel.
The Iron Dome system developed by Rafael Company and launched into production with the US financial support is able to intercept uncontrolled rockets and low-flying aircraft and UAVs.
