How to create a brand in the food industry
The German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) organizes with the assistance of the Export Promotion and Investment Fund of Azerbaijan (AZPROMO) training on formation of product brands in the food industry in Baku Business Center on July 1.
The trainings will focus on drinks (juices, soft drinks and wine). Over the past 3 years in Azerbaijan there are several brands that have become popular in the local market (Vita 1000, Gyzyl Guyu, etc.). The training will be held by Prof. Fuad Rasulov from Khazar University. He will report about the concept of the brand, the process of its creation and exit to the market.
The Director of the Center for Business and Information AZPROMO Anar Gasimli told Turan that creation of a good brand needs not only the idea, but also great means. "In Azerbaijan, for a certain period several well-known brands have been formed in the food industry. However, they are still known only to the local consumer. For access to international markets it is necessary to develop a clear marketing strategy, the cornerstone of which will stand the brand and name of the country," he said.
The training was attended by representatives of about 20 companies. - 08B-
