ATMs of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) have been established in 44 localities of the country. As of October 1, it was 50% of the total number of ATMs installed by all banks since the beginning of the year. According to the report by this largest financial structure, just on the balance sheet it has an extensive network of 734 ATMs.
Significantly (by 70.6%) extended also the network of POS-terminals of IBA from the beginning of the year. Today the bank serves 8,445 units of this equipment.
The number of active cards of IBA by October 1, 2014 was 2,181,855.
Overall performance on the basis of three quarters of the year is as follows:
Assets were 8.39 billion manat (+17% YTD).
Increased the credit portfolio - by 20.4% - to 6,062 million manat. Loans to individuals, at the expense of entrepreneurs amounted to 639.3 million manat (+ 15.1%). While 0.7% reduced deposits from the public by the end of July-September - to 1 601 million manats.
Capital of the bank by October 1, was at 986.8 million manat (+ 9.2%) with charter capital of 568,300,000 manat (+ 19.6%).
The net profit was at 44.7 million AZN. The January-September income amounted to 438.7 million manat.
The largest bank in the country, IBA was established in 1992. More than half of its shares (50.2%) belongs to the state, 49.8% belongs to private shareholders. --17D-

Azerbaijan’s imports of animal and vegetable fats and oils climbed 23.9% by weight and 16.2% by value from January to September 2024, official data revealed. Despite the uptick in volume, the import cost of these products saw a decrease compared to the same period last year, with the cost per ton of vegetable oil falling by 6.1% to $1,199.6 in 2024, down from $1,278.6 in 2023.
