Ilham Aliyev for gas cooperation with Europe
Azerbaijan for energy cooperation with the European Union and became the first country which had to put forward the initiative to deliver Caspian hydrocarbons to world and European markets, said the President Ilham Aliyev at the end of negotiations with the EU Council President, Herman Van Rompuy.
According to Aliyev, Azerbaijan will continue to participate in providing the energy security of European partners.
Speaking about the new fields of Azerbaijan and the value of the pipeline TANAP, Aliyev said that these projects are designed for decades, maybe centuries.
With regard to the Karabakh conflict, Aliyev pointed to Armenia’s ignoring the UN Security Council resolutions on the necessity of liberation the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. -06D-
