Ilham Aliyev met with BP President Robert Dudley in Kars
Yesterday President Ilham Aliyev met with BP General Executive Director Robert Dudley in Kars, reported presidential web site.
At the meeting the sides have expressed satisfaction with successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and BP and fruitful joint operations for development of the Shah Deniz gas field.
At the meeting the sides have mentioned importance of delivery of additional 6 billion cub.m. of gas from the Shah Deniz-2 field to Turkey in 2018. It has been added that the work on the TAP project is going on and Azerbaijan’s role in safeguarding energy safety of Europe has been highly evaluated.
It has been mentioned at the meeting that BP is among the TANAP shareholders and that work on the projects continues as well.
During the meeting the sides have exchanged opinions on the current state and perspectives of cooperation between Azerbaijan and BP.—0—
