Checks of the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents (SCSMP) in 2012 showed that in compliance with the state standards in the country are not all right. For this reason they banned production activities of 261 enterprises.
The press service of the committee told Turan, that the checks covered 1,138 enterprises, in 833 of which they identified violations of metrology standards and regulations. They banned to eliminate shortcomings bakery shops - 66, dairy products - 21, soft drinks - 23, furniture - 1, building materials - 4, chicken - 2, etc. It was found that 768 product names are without certificates of compliance.
