In 2012, 111 patents granted
The State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents (SCSMP) in 2012 granted to inventors of industrial property 111 patents, six of which are foreign nationals and companies.
The annual report by SCSMP noted that for the year they issued 10 utility model patents, two of which are foreign-owned. Of the 17 patents for industrial designs 13 are owned by foreign entities.
