Azerbaijan gets acquainted with banking experience of Great Britain

Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Taleh Kazimov has held a meeting with heads of the Association of Stock Market Participants of Azerbaijan, Baku Stock Exchange, National Depository Centre and investment companies.

The Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund (ADIF) has paid a total of AZN 1,717.5 million or $1,010.3 million in compensation to 62,520 depositors of 19 banks in the process of liquidation over the period of its operation from 2006 to 2024.This is reported by the ADIF.

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) does not hold auctions of notes since November 2024, i.e. for 3 months. This is evidenced by operational indicators published by the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE).

In 2024, the 'Pasha Sığorta' and 'Paşa  Hayat Sığorta' companies as parts of 'Pasha Holding', collected AZN 912 million of insurance premiums. This is stated in the insurance review published by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
