Profitability of the CBA has fallen below 2%
Short-term notes of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) series 50100238S at the total amount of 10 million manat were placed at the auction, held Jan. 16, 2013.
The announced offer was 30 million manats; put up for sale were notes for AZN 10 million, and the total demand for them by the two investors exceeded 17 mln at face value. Orders were presented in price range from 99.8750% (YTM 1.61%) to 99.8462% (1.89).
Price cut for competitive bids in the CBA was at 99.8462% (1.98%) and the weighted average price was 99.8642% (1.75%)
Repayment of notes will be on 13 February 2013. At the previous auction the Central Bank notes were sold at a price of 2.22% per annum. - 15D -
