In 2015 Azerbaijan increased production of gas, including tank gas, according to statistical committee
According to the Azerbaijan State Statistical Committee, during 2015 the country extracted 29,727,700,000 cub.m. The production volume increased by 1.1% against 2014.
In 2014 gas production in Azerbaijan totaled 29,615,300,000 cub.m., though the Azerbaijani government forecast gas production in 2015 at 30,110,000,000 cub.m.
There is a significant difference between the data about gas production announced by Azerbaijan Energy Minister Natig Aliyev and published in the official press on January 15, 2016 and the data released by the Azerbaijan State Statistical Committee. Minister’s article read that in 2015 Azerbaijan extracted 29.1 billion cub.m. of gas.
According to the State Statistical Committee, in 2015 Azerbaijan extracted 19,720,500,000 cub.m. of tank gas, up 5.5% against 2014.—0—

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
