In Azerbaijan, 345.6 thousand people receive disability pension
BAKU/04.12.13/TURAN : As of November 1, Azerbaijan 345.6 thousand people (27.1% of all pensioners on labor) receive a disability pension .
As stated in the State Social Protection Fund ( SSPF) , 6.9% of them, or 23.9 thousand are disabled of the first group, 85.9% or 296.8 thousand - are disabled of the second group, and the remaining 7.2% or 24.8 thousand are assigned to the third group. Most (95%) of the disability pension is calculated on a general basis , 3.6 % receive pensions for injuries in the war, 0.9 % - civil servants .
Invalids of the first group on sight (7 872 thousand ) was obtained with the recent doubling of the base portion 251 manat on the average pension for disabled in 147.6 manat, is said in the press release.
Basic pension for the disabled are on average 20 % higher than for old-age pensioners .
Total in Azerbaijan there are 1 million 274 thousand 342 pensioners on labor. - 17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
