A storm on the evening of December 4 brought precipitation through the territory of Azerbaijan. There was rain, and snow in mountainous areas. Wind speed ranged from 22 to 35 meters per second. Wind speed was 27-32 meters per second, and the wave height at the Oil Rocks reached 6.5 meters. In some areas, the wind tore at power lines and the roofs of buildings.
The amount of precipitation in various parts of the country ranged from 7 to 14 mm. Baku and Absheron experienced 0.3-8 mm of rainfall; in the coastal part of Absheron 1-9 mm of rain.
Forecasters report that the snow depth reached 18cm in the Guba region, 23 cm in the Gusar region and the Khizi region recorded 20 cm. -03D04-
