In October, customs revenues were down
Baku/08.11.13/Turan : In October of this year, Customs Service of Azerbaijan will generate revenue to the state budget in the form of taxes and fees 122 682.1 thousand manats. It is 1,256 manats or 1.1 % less than in September.
Since the beginning of the year by the State Customs Committee ( SCC) transferred to the state budget 1 134.4 million manat, which is 14.8 % ( 146.6 million manat) higher than in the first ten months of 2012.
According to the SCC , the bulk of revenues ( 71.3 %) accounted for the value added tax ( 633.3 million manat). Compared to the same period in 2012, this type of customs duties taxes rose by about 22%. But the Customs fees amounted to 189.5 million manat, which is 6.5 million or 3.3 % less than in January- August last year.
Recall that this year's forecast of fees to the state budget through the SCC increased from 1.2 to 1 billion 380 million manats. And next year, this strip increased to 1,510 bn ( + AZN 130 million ) . Including: VAT - 1070 mln , levies - 330 , excise taxes - 90 million and road tax - 20 million manat.
As a rule , the customs officers cope with the task , which shows how the great potential of customs duties and the level of corruption in this structure. - 08B-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
