Investors Buy CBA Notes at 1.20% Per Annum
Short-term notes from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Series 50102838S50103038S totaling AZN 5 million were sold at an auction held on July 31, 2013.
The announced offer raised 30 million manat. Notes worth AZN 5 million were auctioned and the total demand for them from two investors was over AZN 8 million at face value. The price range of orders ranged from 99.9069% (YTM 1.20%) to 99.9065% (4.52%).
Price cut for competitive bids in the CBA was 99.9069% (1.20%) and was equal to the weighted average price.
The notes are due to be repaid on August 28, 2013. At the previous session of the Central Bank notes were also sold at a price of 1.20% per annum. - 15D -

Azerbaijan’s imports of animal and vegetable fats and oils climbed 23.9% by weight and 16.2% by value from January to September 2024, official data revealed. Despite the uptick in volume, the import cost of these products saw a decrease compared to the same period last year, with the cost per ton of vegetable oil falling by 6.1% to $1,199.6 in 2024, down from $1,278.6 in 2023.
