Issued First Electronic Visas for Foreign Tourists
Foreigners were issued the first electronic visa to Azerbaijan. From March 19 until now used the services were used by more than two thousand people.
According to the head of the local Tourism Association Nahid Bagirov, the first right to provide such authorization was vested to 25 tourist companies operating in the country.
Today, Azerbaijan has issued the right to provide full travel services to 200 individuals and entities. If successful, the pilot project will simplify the procedure for receiving foreign guests and extend it to all market participants. - 17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
