Master Plans of Two Cities Approved
On November 15 the Cabinet of Ministers approved the General Plans for the city of Mingachevir and the town (district center) of Gusar. Turan was told in the State Committee of Urban Planning and Architecture (SCUPA).
The customer of the development of General Plans of human settlements is SCUPA. There is an ongoing public debate on the General Plan of the Goygol region, calculated to 2033. At the approval stage are the main urban planning documents for two other cities - Ganja and Sumgait.
SCUPA noted that under the new General Plan urban planning work is carried out in 33 towns. In six of them (Masalli, Agjabedi, Goychay, Salyan, Shamkir and Khachmaz) the General Plans are in the development stage by the designing companies. -----08B

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
