Forecasters Predict Further Cooling
In the evening on November 22 in Baku and around the Absheron peninsula the northwest wind will increase and the snowfall will continue, as the Ministry of Environment forecasts.
On November 23-24 the air temperature will drop to minus 3 degrees at night and + 1 + 3 by day, with possible black ice on the roads. Precipitation in the form of rain and snow will continue.
In the upland and foothill areas snowfall will be intense. The air temperature will go down to -5 -10 degrees, with an easterly wind. In the low-lying areas it will be 0 +5 degrees. -02D-

During search and operational activities, on January 30 at 11:20, 16.4 kg of drugs were discovered and seized in the area of the "Geytapa" border post, located on the Iran-Azerbaijan border. According to the Azerbaijan Border Service, this prevented an attempt to smuggle into Azerbaijan 11.3 kg of marijuana, 5.1 kg of opium, and 1,990 methadone M-40 pills from Iran.
