Minimal requirements for the investment portfolio in two industrial parks
The Ministry of Economic Development has defined minimums for investment in industrial parks in Sumgait and Balakhany. Meanwhile the government continues to work on the creation of engineering and other infrastructure for their functioning.
According to the decision , the minimum investment requirement for the passage of natural and legal persons registered in Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park will be 5 million manat. Analogical demand in the industrial park Balakhany determined to be 0.5 million manat. In addition, for new investment projects investment amount must be at least 50 % is represented by the park management.
The above-mentioned industrial parks were created by the order of President Ilham Aliyev in December 2011. Sumgayit industrial park received 167.66 hectares and Balakhany - 7 hectares of land . - 08D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
