Money supply in Azerbaijan for the year grew by almost 17%
Since the beginning of the year until August 1, handling cash (aggregate M0) amounted to $ 10 billion 508,900,000 manat (in the previous year it was 9,455,100,000 AZN or minus 10.02%). This is 30.91% of the total volume of the Gross Domestic Product.
Money supply (M2) amounted to 17 billion 438,100,000 manat (14 billion 504,400,000 manat or minus 16.8% a year earlier), accounting for 51.3% of GDP. --17D-

Azerbaijan’s imports of animal and vegetable fats and oils climbed 23.9% by weight and 16.2% by value from January to September 2024, official data revealed. Despite the uptick in volume, the import cost of these products saw a decrease compared to the same period last year, with the cost per ton of vegetable oil falling by 6.1% to $1,199.6 in 2024, down from $1,278.6 in 2023.
