"Nursist" Lyceum changes name and owners

Lyceums of the Azerbaijan International Educational Complex ("Çağ Öyrətim İşlətmələri"),  the activities of which were stopped,  were handed over to the Lyceum  named  after Z.Aliyeva. Thus, the private high schools will be under state control, and the corresponding state standards, and will be called  "experimental pilot classes," according to  the  Lyceum named after  Z.Aliyeva.  The Ministry of Education   noted that the process of placing students  of the  closed lyceums  of the  Azerbaijani International Educational Complex continues. According to recent data, 42% of students have already been accepted in other public and private schools.  The Education Ministry confirmed the  opening  of the experimental pilot classes in the Lyceum named after  Z. Aliyeva in Baku, as well as public educational institutions in Ganja, Shirvan, Guba, Lankaran, Mingachevir and Aghdash. Thus, the experimental classes will be housed in a building that previously operated high schools of the  AIOC.

Çag Oyretim İşlətmələti is a structure belonging to the opponent  of  Erdogan, the Turkish theologian Fatullah Gulen. After  aggravation of their relations Erdogan accused Gülen of the  attempt of  coup, and offered the Azerbaijani authorities to close all organizations associated with Gülen. Apparently, Erdogan and Aliyev  have found common ground on this issue. -0
