More than One-third Reduction in Number of NDC Transactions
On November 1, the National Depository Center registered 190 transactions on the additional issue of shares of a nominal value of 2 billion 398 million 498 thousand manat (minus 38.5% to January-October of last year). Of these, 7 deals totaling 1 billion 125 million 216.54 thousand AZN were concluded in October. Thirty-eight 38 agreements were concluded with issuers.
NDC registered 3,539 exchange transactions with a par value of 1,600,510,000 and 240 OTC transactions with securities in the aggregate nominal value of 146,287,560 manat.
NDC at the State Committee for Securities with a registered capital of 1.4 million manat was created on 18 September 1997. Today, it serves approximately 1.2 thousand issuers, including legal entities and individuals. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
