Nar Mobile Supported Research Project ICT-3
The local mobile operator Azerfon (brend "Nar Mobile") launched the sponsorship program in the framework of ICT-3.
According to the company, the process began on 13 November. The purpose of the contest , held in conjunction with the State Fund for the Development of Science and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology - stimulating the activity of scientists and professionals working in the field of ICT. The project includes evaluation and award the best of scientific publications in this field.
In the process of selection of the winners will be attended by independent experts of Science Development Fund , the Board of Trustees and executive management , as well as set up by the organizers of the contest Joint Commission . The competition is open to scientists and experts from academic institutions , universities , research institutions within ministries , NGOs , ICT companies, as well as scientists individually.
Nar Mobile, guided by corporate social responsibility strategy , paying special attention to projects aimed at the development of the country's education, science, education, and regularly carries out projects of this type.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
