New Terminal 1 of Baku airport will be served only by AZAL

On July 15 this year, all international scheduled flights of AZAL will be implemented with the new International Airport Terminal 1 named after Heydar Aliyev.

A source in AZAL told Turan that foreign airlines will use the North Terminal, and local AZAL flights will be carried out from the terminal South. Both terminals are located in the old terminal building. Currently, the terminal South is being repaired and flights on local lines are made from the cargo terminal.

The new international terminal of Baku airport opened on 23 April this year. It will serve 6 million passengers a year. The terminal area is 53,000 square meters. AZAL operates regular flights to 30 cities in the world. - 08D -
