New Validation Rules of Construction Materials
The rules of testing building materials and products for compliance with standards have been prepared. According to the official information with reference to the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers, the document has been prepared in accordance with Article 55.1 of the Code of Urban Planning and Construction and involve testing for compliance with the standards of quality for building materials and products under state supervision over construction.
The purpose of inspection is to ensure that materials and products comply with requirements of quality standards to protect the rights and interests of consumers, the state and businesses. Checking samples of building materials and products is carried out in the absence of a certificate of conformity to standards of quality, as well as in the event of grounds for suspicion of security certification and suspicion of product compliance security.
Verification of samples for compliance is carried out in an accredited laboratory at enterprises engaged in certification of building materials and products, or in testing laboratories.
