Next week "Caspar" will receive from Croatia one more ferry
Next week Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping Company ("Caspar") will receive a ferry "Balaken" built in the dock "Ulyanina" (Pula, Croatia). On the ship will hoist the flag of Azerbaijan, and he will go to Baku, said the spokesman of "Caspar" , Vugar Sadigov.
According to the "Caspar" representative, on September 14, the Pula shipbuilders passed to the Azeri seamen the ferry "Berde", an analogue of the ferry "Balaken". The ship is moving in the direction of the Caspian Sea.
The length of the ferry is 154.8 m, width = 17.5 m. Deadweight of the ship is 5,000 tons. The ferry can accommodate 54 rail cars.
Contractual value of a ferry is 22 million euro. Purchase of vessels is financed from the state budget of Azerbaijan. Over the last four years, "Caspar" bought four ferries.
In 1984-1986, eight ships were built for Azerbaijani sailors in the same dock.
At present, the fleet of "Caspar" has more than 80 tankers, freighters and ferries, which operate exclusively in the Caspian Sea in the transport corridor TRACECA. -08D0

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today.
