Oil export of State SOCAR from Supsa terminal decreased by 21.4% and two times up through the Novorossiysk port
In January 2015 SOCAR exported from the Supsa port 254,107 tons of Azerbaijani oil transported via the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline.
SOCAR press office reported that in January 2014 SOCAR exported from the Supsa port 322,966 tons of oil. Therefore, in January 2015 export from the Supsa port decreased by 21.4%.
In 2014 SOCAR shipped from the Supsa port 2,957,039 tons of oil.
The pipeline with the carrying capacity of 7.5 million tons of oil was built within the framework of the contract for development of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field in 1999. Oil extracted from the Chirag field is exported via this pipeline.
In January 2015 SOCAR shipped from the Novorossiysk port 169,507 tons of oil exported via the Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline, two times up against last year.
In December 2014 SOCAR and Russian Transneft company extended the contract to transport Azerbaijani oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline till the end of 2015.
In 2014 SOCAR shipped 932,155 tons of oil from the Novorossiysk port. Since 1997 Azerbaijan transports its oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline.—0—
