Over the River Guruchay Another Bridge Collapsed
On 9 September at 21.00 due to the destruction of concrete pillars collapsed a bridge with length of 40 meters over the river Guruchay on the 177th km of the highway leading from Baku to the state border of Russia through Guba.
The press service of JSC Azeryolservis under the Ministry of Transport said that the road via the bridge has been maintained temporarily. The decision whether to repair or build the new bridge will be taken on the results of the examination. The bridge was put into operation 40 years ago, and was overhauled once.
Recall that in July of this year another bridge collapsed over the river Guruchay in Gusar. - 08D-
