PASHA Bank Sponsors International Forum Bellwether Breakfast
In the capital's Four Seasons hotel under the general sponsorship of one of the largest banks in Azerbaijan, PASHA Bank, an international forum "Bellwether Breakfast. The Outlook for Growth in 2013 and beyond" was held.
This year, to participate in the forum were representatives of such organizations and companies as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Ministry of Development of Turkey, Deloitte and Touche LLC, Azerfon LLC, Ernst & Young and other speakers at the event were such well-known experts like Prof. . Dr. Ahmet Kesik, Managing Director of the Ministry of Development of Turkey; Lorenz Jorgensen, head of syndicated lending of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and other well-known experts.
The most discussed topics at the event, which was organized by The Economist Group, were: reducing consumers' confidence against the austerity measures and high unemployment in the euro area, the Cyprus crisis, the threat of the collapse of the zone itself and the difficulty of the continent as a whole, the discussion of the new challenges of the world economy . Separately, they discussed the risks faced by the countries of the Caspian region, including Azerbaijan, investment opportunities, the analysis of economic growth in the countries of the CIS, etc.

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance.
