Petrol made in Azerbaijan does not correspond to Euro-4 standard, according to State Statistical Committee
Petrol imported into Azerbaijan has the highest quality and corresponds to all required standards, Ramiz Hasanov, chairman of the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents, told journalists yesterday.
“There is a condition to import fuel corresponding to Euro-5 standard into the country,” he said. He added that AI-92 petrol made in the country falls short of even Euro-4 standard.
“The reason is that in addition to new cars, the citizens still use old cars as well,” Hasanov added.—0—
