Production of construction materials rose by 16.8%
Increased investment in fixed assets is the demand for building materials market, where in the first half of this year saw an increase in production at the level of 16.8%.
According to the State Statistics Committee, with the beginning of the year the volume of building materials totaled 194.7 million manat. The bulk of this volume accounted for cement. Cement manufacturers for the six months increased production by 39% and brought sales to 1.3 million tons.
It is noteworthy that for other types of construction materials (plaster, brick and asphalt) there has been a definite decrease. In the first half of this year, producers have reported the release of 51,800 tons of plaster (-48.2%), 119,200 cubic meters of brick (-38.2%) and 144,000 tons of asphalt (-19%).
Since the beginning of the year production of building materials increased 5.1%. Last year, a decrease was recorded at 27.5% of the production of construction sand, stone and crushed stone cube. Quarries produced mined sand - 656,500 tons (-32.3%), stone cube - 201 200 tons (12%) and rubble - 742,800 tons (23.3%).
According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-June this year, the retail prices of construction materials rose at an annualized rate of 1.2%. While producer prices increased on average by 0.3%. - 08D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
