Prospects of Cooperation in Civil Aviation between Azerbaijan and Qatar
The President of CJSC Azerbaijan Airlines Jahangir Asgarov on December 13 received the delegation headed by the chairman of the Civil Aviation Administration of Qatar Abdullah Nasser Al-Turki Suba.
The aim of the visit is to discuss further cooperation between Azerbaijan and Qatar in the field of civil aviation.
Asgarov noted that between AZAL and Qatar Airways partnerships have developed and "there are no obstacles to the expansion of ties in the field of passenger and cargo traffic in the area." It is reported by the press service of CJSC Azerbaijan Airlines.
Qatar Airways embarked on a flight from Doha to Baku in 2012. From Doha charters are performed to 150 cities of the world. The flights on the route Baku-Doha-Baku are carried out daily. The minimum cost of one-way ticket is 707 manat. At the same time on many charter flights the cost of the ticket is generated at a much lower level. -----08D
