Qatar Interested in Agricultural Projects in Azerbaijan
The Emirate of Qatar is interested in investing in the production of agricultural production in Azerbaijan, followed by the delivery of products grown. This was said by the Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan Heydar Asadov at his meeting with the head of the business development department of the Investment Office of Qatar, Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali al-Thani in Baku on May 11.
According to al-Thani, Qatar can implement its own project in the field of animal husbandry, dairy farming, vegetable production and agricultural processing.
"From this year on, Azerbaijan subsidizes the export of non-oil products, and investments in several non-oil areas are exempt from tax in the long term," Heydar Asadov said. ----08B
