Reconstruction of Mashtaga-Bilgah Road
The state-run JSC Azeravtoyol embarked on the reconstruction of the Mashtaga-Bilgah road in the Sabunchu district of Baku.
As the press-service of the JSC said, the works are carried out directly by the builders. The road serves the residents of the three villages for many years. But for some reason its reconstruction is presented as the construction of a road.
As part of this work the road with total length of 9 km will be extended in width from 7 to 9 meters and borders of 18,000 meters in length will be laid. In several places sidewalk will be laid, too.
President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on March 7 on the allocation of 2.5 million manats for the construction of the highway Mashtaga-Bilgah. The funds were allocated from the target state-budget fund Highways.
Sources in JSC Azeravtoyol did not comment for Turan the reasons for not carrying out a tender procedure for this project. ---08D
