Reports on lowering prices for the tickets of AZAL are not true
The information spread by some pro-government sites about lowering prices for flights by the state airline AZAL, have not been confirmed. The attempts to get comments in AZAL were futile. The air company did not make any statements, to confirm or deny information about the price drop for its flights. According to unofficial data, the leadership of AZAL is considering the possibility of reducing prices, but not any decision has been made. On 13 July President Ilham Aliyev criticized the pricing policy by AZAL, and urged the company to lower tariffs for transportation of passengers.
The opposition press and users of social networks more than a year have criticized authorities for monopoly and arbitrariness of AZAL, which sells tickets by 50-80% more expensive than other airlines.
In addition, AZAL has closed access to Azerbaijan for a low-budget companies. Many Azerbaijanis have to go to Tbilisi and from there fly abroad, thus trip abroad costing by two or three times cheaper. -06D-

In many cases, bread packaging does not include weight details. Similarly, bread sold at smaller bakeries and tandir houses often lacks information apart from the price.
