Second Wave of Devaluation Increased Cost of International Rail Transport

The second wave of devaluation of the manat (100% by 20 February of this year) has affected the cost of train tickets to international destinations.

According to CJSC Azerbaijani Railways, the price changed in connection with the fall of the national currency against the Swiss franc.

Tickets for travel within the territory of Azerbaijan have not changed and are sold in manats.

Recall, trains to international destinations from Baku travel to Moscow, Tbilisi, Rostov, Kharkov and Tyumen. --- 17D-
