Sericulture and Hazelnut Growing to Be Developed at Expense of State Support
President Ilham Aliyev signed on November 16 a decree ‘On additional measures to strengthen state support for the development of sericulture and hazelnut growing.’
For the purpose of harvesting and donation of products the manufacturers of silk seeds and saplings of mulberry and hazelnuts the Ministry of Agriculture is paid 1 million 463 thousand manat. This includes: for the purchase of silk seeds - 163 thousand manat, for mulberry saplings - 600 thousand manat and for hazelnut saplings - 700 thousand manat.
The Ministry of Agriculture is requested to submit it to the manufacturers to meet the needs of cities and regions. --08D
