Shah Deniz Produces 76 Billion Cubic Meters of Gas
The total production volume of gas from the Shah Deniz field has been 76 bcm, said the First Vice President of SOCAR Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh at a meeting with students of the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry.
“From the end of 2006 to November 2016 the Shah Deniz field produced 76 bcm of gas and 19 million tons of condensate. Every day it produces 28-29 mcm of gas and 6 thousand tons of condensate,” he said.
* The contract to develop the field Shah Deniz was signed in Baku on June 4, 1996 and ratified by Milli Majlis on October 17 of the same year. Participants of the Shah Deniz project are BP (operator, 28.8%), Petronas (15.5%), SOCAR (16.7%), Lukoil (10%), NICO (10%) and TPAO (19%). -12D-
