SOCAR Raises New Loan for Gasification in Azerbaijan
SOCAR has attracted additional credit in the amount of AZN 100 million for works on gasification of the republic, the Vice President on Economic Issues, Suleyman Gasimov, said.
‘We had planned to attract 198 million manats from the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA). As a result, we attracted AZN 100 million and the issue of the rest of the amount is still open; it all depends on the capabilities of Azerbaijani banks,’ said Gasimov.
The Vice President did not rule out involvement of the remaining funds in 2017.
Previously, for the gasification of Azerbaijan SOCAR obtained a loan from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan in the amount of AZN 472 million for 10 years, which has been fully mastered. -12D-
