SOCAR repairs the burnt platform
SOCAR is completing the work on the restoration of the platform in the offshore field "Guneshli", burnt on December 4, 2015. During the restoration work were dismantled the old metal-constructions, and four new modules have been installed. Two sites were repaired, and two more have been renovated. On the platform were delivered four lifeboat for 42 people, and one raft for 20 people.
Helipad has been restored. Currently, the on the construction of new electric cables is going on.
During the storm on December 4 there was a fire on the platform, which resulted in the deaths of more than 30 people. During the searches, 15 dead bodies were found. The rest could not be found. -05D-
