Stabilization Tendencies Observed in Financial Sector - Head of FIMSA
As a result of restructuring activities in the banking sector stabilization tendencies are observed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Financial Markets Supervision Authority (FIMSA) Rufat Aslanli said at a meeting with the head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission Mohammed al Gorchi.
The FIMSA head informed the IMF of a phased implementation plan to identify the principal risks and ways to address them in the insurance market, the FIMSA press service reported today. He thanked the IMF for support and guidance to improve the stability of the financial sector.
Mohammed al Gorchi noted that the IMF supports the activities in the banking and insurance sectors, and expressed confidence that these steps will contribute to the financial sector of Azerbaijan. -----08D
