State Insurance Service reports for 10 months
The results of insurers of Azerbaijan have been published.
According to the State Insurance Supervision Service of the Ministry of Finance Republic of Azerbaijan, in January-October Azerbaijani insurance companies collected 337 million 649.67 thousand manats , up 55.51 million or 16.45 % more than the result of ten months of last year , when it was accumulated premiums to 282.14 million manat . The growth was due to the corporate and compulsory insurance. "Classic" voluntary insurance is poorly developed.
Pasha Sigorta accumulated by November 1 47,363,830 manats , which is almost 8.88 million more than last year and the result is 14.03 % of the total premiums collected in 28 participants in the market . It is worth noting that the proportion of this structure increased over the month by 0.3% due to the relative lag competitors. Pasha Hhayat Sigorta (the leader's subsidiary), outstripping other two representatives of life insurance, collected 28.38 million manat in fifth place among all insurers.
Thanks to the presidential decree on development of compulsory insurance of employees of MES and State Border Service Company AzerSigorta firmly straddled bronze niche with an eye on a step above , and on account of its 33.05 million ( about 4 million increase over the last month ) .
AzSigorta, following six months, collected 35.57 million manat with no intention to catch up to the leader.
Collecting 30.66 mln against 30.49 million manat, the forever bronze team Ateshgah dropped to 4th place. Former leader of the life insurance Ateshgah Hayat Sigorta was behind the business partner with 20.46 million
At the bottom of the top ten teams there are Ipek Yolu Sigorta - 15.93 million manat, Standard Insurance - 15.67 mln, AXA MBASK - 14.48 mln, and International Insurance Company - 11.75 million manat of premiums.
Leader in payments is also the company Pasha Sigorta. During the reporting period (January-October) it compensated by insurance cases 22.49 million manat. It is 22.72 % of the total figure. The costs expanded mainly due to voluntary health insurance for corporate clients (mainly state-owned oil company).
In general, companies from January to the end of September paid 98.97 million manat , which is almost 23.5 mln more than in the same period last year ( 75.46 million ). - 17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
