Structural Changes in the Ministry of Taxes
The Baku City Tax Department lost its status as an independent structure of the Ministry of Taxes. The corresponding change in the structure of the ministry was introduced by the presidential decree on February 2.
From now on, the Department will operate under the Ministry of Taxes as his other two units: the Department of Preliminary Investigation of Tax Crimes and the Department of Special Regime Revenue Service. The position of the Department of Taxes Baku under the Ministry of Taxes was approved on the same day by the Minister of Taxes.
It is noteworthy that the new structure does not mention the Tax Audit Department of the Ministry of Taxes. There is no representative of this department in the new structure of Board of the Ministry of Taxes, although the Ministry of Taxes has not reported on the abolition of the structure. The new composition of the Board of the Ministry of Taxes was approved also on 2 February.
Note that on February 2 the Department of Analytical Information of the Taxes Ministry reported reshuffle in four of the 12 regional tax offices. "With the purpose to make full use of the tax capacity and revenue forecasts in the line approved" the leaders of these regional tax offices were removed from office and others were appointed in their place. ----08D
