Supermarket Chain Bazarstore Expands
Smaller shops gradually give way to supermarkets, whose network expands every month. Meanwhile hypermarkets are on the horizon.
Yesterday Azersun Holding announced plans to open 10 supermarkets and 3 hypermarkets Bazarstore in Baku and the regions.
The Director General of Azersun Holding Savas Uzan told reporters that six new stores will be located in Baku. The first two hypermarkets with all necessary infrastructures will be located in the vicinity of the capital
In 2011, the group of companies Azersun Holding launched its network of supermarkets Bazarstore. The network consists of 9 supermarkets in Baku, Sumgait, Ganja, Sheki and Lankaran.

Data on Azerbaijan's oil exports for January-October 2024 reveals a significant drop in both volume and value compared to the same period last year, highlighting the challenges facing the oil-dependent economy. The country exported 495,484.05 tons of oil products worth $309.02 million, a decrease of 40.3% in value and 40.7% in volume compared to 2023, when exports totaled 925,225.07 tons worth $572.21 million.
