Technical Control over Construction of Administrative Building of Ministry of Taxes Entrusted to Austrian-German Company
The Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan has attracted a branch of the Austrian-German company ILF Beretende Ingenieure GmbH as a consultant for technical control during the process of construction of a new administrative building of the Ministry of Taxes in Baku.
According to the Ministry of Taxes, the contract between the parties is 1 million 699 thousand 200 manat.
The head of the branch of the company ILF Beretende Ingenieure GmbH Gulu Mammadov told Turan the services of technical control will be provided by more than 10 employees during the construction of the building - 18 months.
The company has many years of experience working with government agencies. Since 2007, it consults the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for the construction of Shahdag Winter-Summer resort. The total amount of the contract with ILF Beretende Ingenieure GmbH in two phases of construction works is estimated approximately at $ 5 million, said the company’s spokesman.
Recently ILF Beretende Ingenieure GmbH has completed the implementation of a project of the company Pasha Construction.
In Azerbaijan, in February of this year, it operates as a branch of the company ILF Beratende Ingenieure AG (Switzerland). It collaborates with the state CJSC Azerbaijani Railways for modernization of the railway Baku-Boyuk Kesik.
The trade name of ILF Beretende Ingenieure GmbH is ILF Consulting Engineers.
The contract in the amount of 110.9 million manat for the construction of 31-storey building of the Ministry of Taxes has been received by the company Tekfen Insaat ve Tesisat A.S. (Turkey). -----08B

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN.
