Term of release of a number of goods from import duties and import VAT extended for three years
The Cabinet of Ministers decided (№ 327) 13th November to extend exempted from import value-added tax (VAT) and customs duties on imports of certain goods . The government's decision is aimed at supporting the development of agriculture and the agro-industrial complex.
In January 2011, the government issued a decree for the number 17 , providing for exemption from payment of import VAT and customs duties on imports of certain goods from the 1st of March for a period of 3 years. Now the government has decided to extend the time limit on the range of the year.
Recall that from the payment of import duties and VAT exempt purebred breeding cattle , purebred breeding sheep and goats, chickens weighing not more than 185 g , soy, legumes for sowing . To exempt from import duties goods also include sunflower seeds, sugar beet, fodder seeds of some crops, fertilizers, and a number of chemicals for use in agriculture.
Also included are dryers for agricultural products, milk separators , facilities and equipment for water supply in the food industry, machinery for cleaning or drying bottles used in the production of food, spare parts of equipment used in the production of food , various agricultural machinery, etc.
We note that the government does not provide analytical information about the effect of the earlier statement, aimed at maintaining agriculture and agribusiness.
