The first issue of the newsletter "E-government"
The first issue of the bulletin "e-government" has been released by a new virtual resource - Information Technology Centre (ITC) of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan.
The bulletin is to inform the public about the work carried out and planned to build e-government, the provision of data on e-government projects, including the number of electronic services and their use of comparative statistics. The brochures will explain new types of e-services, information systems analysis and coverage of presentations of various government agencies.
In the first issue of the newsletter are statistics on the number of e-services available on the portal "e-government", information on the most frequently used services, the number of certificates of electronic signatures.
According to the publisher, only in December, more than 1,800 e-services were used for more than 8 thousand times.
Currently, work is continuing on the creation of mobile e-signature, its commissioning is scheduled for the first quarter of 2013, and the relevant information about it is reflected in the bulletin. - 17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
